Good morning. I’m out of a blissful Cape Town this morning. It is spring, but I sure don’t feel like it. It was so nice and cool this morning. With our travel to Cape Town to settle here, we had to stay in AIRBNB and booking.com places until we found a nice place to rent. My next long-term stay was at Cape Cove CC6. My star rating for this place and its host Miguel is ONE (1). I will give you an honest review of this Airbnb. When we arrived there after my trip back from Pretoria, Angelique and I were tired. As I walked into the apartment, I immediately didn’t like it there. The vibe was just stressed and off. Now let’s start with the kitchen. The microwave was dirty and very small. The kitchen washing bin was only one and in a corner. Who builds a washing bin in the corner of a kitchen? There were cockroaches. There was only one coach in the living room, and it was very uncomfortable to sit on. The TV though was big. The balcony was ok. There were two rooms and bathrooms if you can say that. Both the mattresses on the beds were hard and cheap. The pillows were cheap and slept on for a long time. The rooms were small, and the bathrooms had a shower a toilet, and a basin. A compact bathroom. The tiles both inside the shower and outside the shower were marmolite. The worst part is there were people in other units that were smoking DAGGA. Even though I complained about it nothing was done about it. The good thing about Cape Cove was the view of Table Mountain and I can say it was beautiful. To wake up every day to see Table Mountain is a privilege. All and all the amount of money spent on the place was not worth it. But we had a roof over our heads and a bed to sleep in. According to other reviews, the people said they liked it, and it was a good experience. People differ and are entitled to their opinions. I can add though that it was close to the beach. Have a lovely weekend and talk soon.
