Good morning, everyone! This past Saturday, we decided to make Noordhoek Farm Village our next stop during a spontaneous ride. We had no set plans, but after some discussion, Angelique suggested we revisit Chapmans Peak. For those who know me, you’ll understand that I’m always up for a drive along Chapmans Peak, but I was also excited about the possibility of exploring Noordhoek Farm Village once again.
A Coffee Break in Noordhoek
On the way, I started feeling the need for coffee and a light snack, as I hadn’t had breakfast, and it was already 11 a.m. We decided to stop in Noordhoek, just before driving up Chapmans Peak. As we approached, we stumbled upon the Noordhoek Farm Village website. This place immediately caught our attention, and it’s easy to see why it’s a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.
The village consists of several charming shops and eateries, almost like a mini food court, with around six restaurants and a hotel to choose from. Since I don’t eat much in the mornings, I was hoping for my usual scone with cream. However, they didn’t have scones, so we opted for a more substantial meal. Angelique went for her go-to margarita pizza, while I selected a BBQ chicken mayo sandwich with a side salad. To drink, I had sparkling water, and Angelique enjoyed a chocolate milkshake.
Relaxing Atmosphere and Delicious Food
The restaurant had a lively, bustling atmosphere outside, but we found a seat indoors, where it was quieter and cooler. While we were eating, a musician began setting up for an upcoming performance. It did get a bit warm inside, but the staff was very accommodating and turned on the air conditioning at our request.
The waitstaff was exceptionally friendly and professional, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. As for the food, Angelique’s wood-fired pizza was loaded with cheese, just the way she likes it. My chicken mayo sandwich on sourdough with a side salad looked absolutely mouthwatering and tasted even better. I couldn’t finish the whole sandwich, though, as it came with three large pieces, and I managed to eat only two. Angelique also had leftovers from her pizza, so we asked for takeaway boxes.
Strolling Through Noordhoek Village
After our meal, we decided to stroll through the nearby shops, which had a cozy, inviting atmosphere. We really enjoyed our time in Noordhoek Farm Village, and we’re already thinking about coming back.
If you’re ever in the area, Noordhoek Farm Village is a must-visit. It’s a perfect spot to unwind, enjoy delicious food, and soak in the warm, welcoming vibe of the village. For more information, you can visit their official website.
